The Deer in Headlights Tour + Giveaway!

What do the Greek gods do when they're bored? Because they're always bored, so humans are the perfect players in their games.

Aphrodite owns love; she hasn't lost a competition on her turf in over three millennia. Apollo is on a mission to win. He's counting on it to finally get the one woman he's never been able to have. The two gods will choose their human players, and if Aphrodite can't get them together before the clock runs out, Apollo will get his way. And Aphrodite couldn't have that.

Lex and Dean are perfect for each other, they just don't know it yet. Dean is a perpetual bachelor, and a brooding, beautiful rock star. Lex is always with a man, but she'll never fully give herself up. Aphrodite has her work cut out for her, but if she can't make it work, no one can.

The gods have their own drama. Apollo killed Aprhodite's mortal love - they've got beef that's been dragging on for thousands of years. Ares, the douchebag, is forever trying to pick a fight, and trying to get Aphrodite into bed. And Persephone, Aphrodite's best friend, is the one person who Aphrodite shares everything with.

Follow the gods as they fight, laugh, cry, lose love, gain power, and make a mess with humans.

Interview with Author Staci Heart:

LP:  What made you want to dive into the wild world of the Greek gods?
SP: I've been obsessed with the Greek gods since I was a child and first read the D'Aulaires' Book of Greek Myths. I find the gods fascinating.
LP: Ok, so where you really worried that the world was going to end in December?
SP: Not even in the slightest.
LP: Do you have a certain time that you like to write?
SH: The afternoon when my children are at school and my baby is napping. The sweet, sweet quiet that can only be appreciated by the loud, loud chaos of having three children.
LP: Are you still working on the next book for the series? How’s the sleep going? Do your characters keep you up all night?
SH: Yes, I'm working on Book 2, currently. Sleep is dependent on the noise level of my characters. Currently, they're causing quite a stir, which does tend to keep me staring at the ceiling fan on most nights.
LP: What is your favorite fast food chain?
SH: 5 guys. Gimme a double bacon cheeseburger, all the way please. In my mouth.
LP: Choose your adventure.
You are part of a science experiment studying wormholes. You are put into a machine and come out in a world surround by zombies. What do you do?
A.) Go back into the machine and try to and go home, risking going to a worse timeline? **Please note that you daydreamed about your next novel throughout most of the seminar on how to run the machine.
B.) Or do you stick it out with the zombies hoping to get rescued?
Why did you choose that route?
SH: Option A. I could never finish my series if I was busy eating brains.
LP: Any advice for any wanting to become an author?
SH: Have a great idea. Read a lot of books. Outline. Talk about your book. Find a muse. Share your book with others, BEFORE it's published. They'll be able to give you valuable advice that no one else thought to give. No one is going to steal your idea. And, if they do, they'll never tell the story like you do. Also, use Scrivener (a word processing tool for writers. GAME CHANGER)
